The Microsoft Office Specialist Master certification is the highest level credential you can earn as part of the Office Specialist program. Office Specialist Masters demonstrate a breadth of productivity skills on key desktop programs by passing a combination of core and expert Office Specialist exams developed from the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
There have been changes made to the way in which the Master Certification can be obtained. These changes affect candidates irrespective of whether a candidate is aiming to acheive Master status in Office 2003, XP or 2000. They are GOOD NEWS though if you are aiming to achieve this status. As of November 2003 the following applies:
• Students must complete Word Expert, Excel Expert & PowerPoint Comprehensive
• Students must then complete one of two elective exams - Access Core OR Oulook Core
• Master Certification can only be acheived by taking these examinations in the same Examination Suite.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are aiming for Master Instructor Status then both elective exams must be completed.
